Advantages and disadvantages of micro inverters

Advantage:

1. The solar micro-inverter can be placed in various angles and directions, which can make full use of the space;

2. It can increase the reliability of the system from 5 years to 20 years. The high reliability of the system is mainly through upgrade heat dissipation to remove the fan, and the damage of one solar panel will not affect other panels;

3. The solar panel in the traditional solar system will affect the efficiency because of the installation angle and partial shading, and there will be defects such as power mismatch. The solar micro-inverter can adapt to the continuous change of the environment and can avoid these problems;

Disadvantages :

Disadvantages of Micro-inverters

(1) High cost

In terms of cost, when the number of components exceeds 5KW, the price of micro-inverters is higher than that of traditional series inverters.

(2) Difficult to maintain

If a micro-inverter fails, it cannot be replaced with a new component like a series inverter. The entire system needs to be disassembled to determine the cause of the failure and replace the micro-inverter to re-establish the AC conversion capability.
